Job summary

Suncadia is seeking a Facilities Tech 2 to join our engineering team. This role maintains resort buildings and amenities, responds to guest requests, and supports property wide projects to ensure smooth operations and a memorable guest experience.

Full-time, year-round position with benefits. The ideal candidate has extensive building systems knowledge, including HVAC, electrical and plumbing, and can work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in a maintenance related field (hospitality preferred).
• Ability to work with minimum supervision and handle high-stress situations.
• Strong knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on resort facilities and systems.
• Operate and maintain mechanical equipment and ensure safety standards.
• Utilize the online work order system to track tasks and progress.
• Assist departments to ensure guest satisfaction and smooth operations.
• Support special projects as directed by Engineering leadership.
