Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels is hiring a Public Area Attendant to clean and service our designated public areas to established standards. You will help maintain lobby spaces, restrooms, and common areas, while supporting a guest-focused culture.

You will respond to guest requests, assist with deep cleaning, and coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and high service levels across the property.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service lobby, restrooms, and public areas per standard.
• Strip and wax floors as needed; polish furniture and surfaces.
• Report repairs or unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Respond to guest requests and ensure corrective action for satisfaction.
• Monitor supplies and minimize waste in all areas.
• Log lost and found items per procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments to maintain service levels.
• May assist with deep cleaning or other duties as assigned.
