Job summary

The Rinks in Poway, CA is hiring an Operations Associate to support daily rink operations, guest services, cash handling, and skate guard duties during public sessions. You will greet Guests, manage POS, and help ensure a safe, fun experience.

You may work across Front Desk, Skate Counter, Snack Bar, Skate Guard, Scorekeeper and Party Host areas, performing diverse tasks with a friendly, professional attitude. A flexible schedule including weekends and evenings is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Service minded, enthusiastic, and energetic.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and nights.
• Rink operations experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Communicate rink program information to Guests.
• Operate POS and perform cash-handling activities.
• Coordinate locker room check-in/check-out.
• Greet and assist Guests throughout the facility.
• Answer the telephone in a cheerful, courteous manner.
• Distribute skates and assist with proper size selection.
• Manage guest flow and line flow at peak times.
• Sharpen/maintain rental skates for quality.
• Demonstrate knowledge of menu items and operate Snack Bar equipment.
• Safeguard public sessions and monitor rink conditions for safety.
• Perform scorekeeping duties efficiently.
• Set up and decorate party rooms; coordinate event signage.
• Maintain professionalism and assist with special events as needed.
