Job summary

Family House is seeking a Part Time Housekeeper/Laundry Attendant in Pittsburgh to maintain clean guest rooms and public areas, and handle linen duties. You will work under the Housekeeping Manager, ensuring guest comfort and safety while supporting laundry operations as needed.

The role requires attention to detail, strong customer service, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred and you must be reliable and organized.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning principles and equipment.
• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned guest rooms and bathrooms to established standards.
• Maintain and organize housekeeping carts and supply rooms.
• Clean public areas and lounges to guidelines.
• Report safety hazards and maintenance issues.
• Communicate with Housekeeping Manager on progress.
• Be available for laundry duties when needed.
• Respect guest property and confidentiality.
• Wash, dry and fold linen and towels.
• Operate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely.
• Maintain linen inventory and discard logs.
• Expedite linen delivery as requested.
• Keep laundry and storage areas clean and organized.
