Job summary

Tao Group Hospitality is seeking a dedicated Food Runner for our Las Vegas venues. You will deliver and describe all menu items to guests, maintain clean service areas, and support front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure an exceptional guest experience.

Training is provided in-venue, with opportunities to grow within a dynamic casino/nightlife environment. A strong emphasis on teamwork, guest satisfaction, and adherence to health standards is required.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality experience is preferred.
• Previous food-running experience is preferred.
• Experience in a high-volume restaurant/nightclub/lounge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate and meet guest needs
• Provide professional, exceptional service
• Describe and deliver all food items promptly
• Assist with table maintenance and bussing
• Keep venue areas clean during service
• Follow supervisor directions; be a team player
• Know all food menus, venue, and Tao Group
• Know beverage menu basics
• Know ingredients for allergies
• Comply with health standards
• Communicate guest needs to FOH/HOH and chefs
• Set up runner station; perform opening/closing side-work
• Stock station with items and supplies
• Report breakage or damage immediately
• Attend daily pre-service meetings
• Attend training sessions and dept. meetings
• Learn by listening and leading by example
• Maintain positive, professional attitude
• Demonstrate knowledge of Tao Group and partners
• Work as a team; help fellow team members
• Assist with additional tasks as assigned
