Job summary

Caesars New Orleans Casino & Hotel is hiring a Food Attendant to handle cash transactions and greet guests with a cheerful demeanor. You will prepare food and beverages per guest requests and ensure accurate order placement in the POS system.

Responsibilities include processing orders quickly, maintaining cash controls, assisting the kitchen as needed, and supporting co-workers to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced, on-site casino environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have 6 months previous cash handling experience.
• Work requires effective communication in English, both verbal and written form in a professional manner.
• Must present a neat and professional appearance.
• Work requires attention to detail and accuracy.
• Work requires interactions with customers, public and co-workers.
• Work requires use of a computer and/or cash register.

Responsibilities

• Provides fast, friendly, professional and responsive customer service to restaurant guests and staff.
• Engages in friendly conversations with guest using the 10/5 Rule: 10 feet eye contact and smile; 5 feet greet and speak to guest.
• Accurately inputs all orders into the POS terminal.
• Accurately posts all transactions on the POS terminal; maintains integrity of cash, charge and complimentary sales.
• Makes drinks to order in accordance with established recipes and time guidelines.
• Delivers product to customer in a timely manner.
• Maintains high levels of customer service at all times.
• Thank guests for their patronage.
