Job summary

Portillo's Hot Dogs, LLC is hiring for a fast-paced guest service role at our Avon, IN location. You will greet guests, describe menu items, take orders and payments, and help keep lines moving efficiently both at the counter and drive-thru.

Qualifications include being 21 or older to serve alcohol, a year of prior Portillo’s employment with 20+ hours in 6 months for stock plan eligibility, and a welcoming, team‑oriented attitude. Veterans are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 or older to serve alcoholic beverages.
• Must have worked at Portillo’s for 1 year with an average of at least 20 hours over a 6‑month period (for Employee Stock Purchase Plan eligibility).
• Military veterans encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly smile and provide BUN-believable customer service.
• Describe our delicious menu items and answer any questions the guest may have.
• Take orders and payments behind the cashier counter and outside in the drive-thru.
• Work with urgency to keep long lines moving smoothly.
• Pass out food orders to guests while rhyming order numbers.
• Take catering and take‑out orders over the phone.
