Job summary

Portillo’s is hiring for hospitality roles at our Chandler location. You will greet guests, describe menu items, and handle orders and payments both at the counter and in the drive-thru. A team‑oriented, fast‑paced environment supports career growth and flexible scheduling.

Requirements include being 21+ to serve alcohol, at least 1 year at Portillo’s with 20 hours over 6 months, and participation in the E‑Verify program. Veterans are encouraged to apply and additional benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 to serve alcoholic beverages.
• Must have worked at Portillo’s for at least 1 year with an average of 20 hours over 6 months.
• Military veterans encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly smile and provide BUN-believable customer service.
• Describe menu items and answer any questions the guest may have.
• Quickly and accurately take orders and payments at the cashier counter and outside in the drive thru.
• Work with a sense of urgency to manage long lines efficiently.
• Work as a team player to help and serve guests and fellow team members.
• Pass out food orders to guests while rhyming order numbers.
• Take catering and take-out orders over the phone.
• Check the accuracy of online, catering and phone orders, accept payment, serve alcoholic beverages (must be 21), and help guests plan special events.
