Job summary

Portillos Hot Dogs, LLC is hiring for a fast-paced guest-facing role. You will greet guests, describe menu items, take orders and payments at the counter or drive‑through, and collaborate with teammates to keep lines moving smoothly.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age to serve alcohol.
• Ability to work evenings and holidays as required.
• Comfortable working in outdoor temperatures below 33°F.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly smile and provide excellent customer service.
• Describe menu items and answer any questions guests may have.
• Take orders and payments accurately at the cashier counter and in the drive‑through.
• Work with a sense of urgency to keep long lines moving smoothly.
• Serve as a team player by helping and serving team members and guests.
• Pass out food orders to guests while ensuring order numbers are correct.
• Take catering and take‑out orders over the phone, confirm accuracy, accept payment, serve alcoholic beverages (must be 21), and assist guests in planning special events.
