Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Good interpersonal skills are necessary to connect with customers and provide information in a courteous manner.
• Basic math skills are necessary to handle cash transactions, calculate change, and balance cash registers.
• Must be able to read and apply company procedure documents.
• Must be able to work in a team environment and follow directions from management.
• Must be able to monitor activity within the store and at gas pumps.
• Ability to operate microwaves, small ovens and other kitchen equipment.
• Ability to work under stress during high volume periods.

Responsibilities

• Displaying a customer comes first attitude with immediate and undivided attention.
• Actively participate in Company sales promotions and programs.
• Complete company-sponsored training and required updates within specified training periods.
• Complete specialized training on food preparation, handling and storage.
• Know promotions weekly and suggest items to increase sales.
• Receive financial payments and give back change as necessary.
• Operate cash register and other sale devices to complete transactions.
• Monitor activity at gas pumps and ensure safe fueling and accurate transactions.
• Accurately receive and prepare deli orders and follow food safety standards.
• Ensure food and equipment temperature logs are completed timely and accurately.
