Job summary

Midas Hospitality is seeking a friendly Bartender to support our Food & Beverage operations at our Canandaigua location. You will prepare and serve beverages, handle guest transactions, and maintain a clean bar while delivering a welcoming experience for hotel guests and patrons.

The ideal candidate enjoys fast-paced guest service, follows safety standards, and provides prompt, professional service in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of beverage preparation and responsible alcohol service.
• Ability to follow safety rules and procedures.
• Effective communication with guests, staff, and leaders.
• Proficient in handling transactions and cash handling.
• Ability to read and follow operating instructions and manuals.
• Experience with basic arithmetic and cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge guests promptly and provide welcoming service.
• Take beverage and food orders accurately and efficiently.
• Mix and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks per recipes.
• Process guest payments accurately and promptly.
• Verify legal age and comply with alcohol service requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized bar area and stock bar supplies.
• Arrange bottles, glassware, and displays for presentation.
• Assist with restocking and buffet/service needs when time allows.
• Promote menu items and specials to guests.
• Attend to guest inquiries and resolve concerns with leadership if needed.
