Job summary

Pinehurst is seeking an enthusiastic bartender to provide prompt and courteous service to members and guests. Prepare and serve beverages according to guidelines while complying with laws and resort standards.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, maintaining stock, handling cash, assisting servers, and supporting outlets across the resort as needed. A high school diploma or GED and at least 6 months of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months of related experience.
• Knowledge of beverage preparation and standards.

Responsibilities

• Greet Members/Guests in a courteous professional manner.
• Mix beverages according to set guidelines to insure uniformity of service.
• Ensure bar area is properly stocked and maintained.
• Close and act as cashier for dining room and bar operation.
• Understand menus (preparation and display) and mixology basics.
• Communicate problems to Outlet Manager or Captain.
• Assist food server in performing their duties.
• Clear and wait on tables when needed.
• Keep bar area clean and properly set daily.
• Assist with monthly inventories for accuracy.
• Attend resort training classes and staff meetings.
• Follow Resort Standards of Operation procedures.
• Report needed equipment or repairs to supervisor.
• Monitor security of beverage items and operations.
• Be available to work at various outlets and holidays as needed.
