Job summary

Thrive Restaurant Group in Cedar Rapids is seeking a friendly Server to create memorable dining experiences by delivering food and drinks, greeting guests, and anticipating their needs.

You will use the POS system to relay orders, assist with menu recommendations, and maintain a clean, upbeat dining room while providing attentive, neighborly hospitality in a family-oriented setting. You are paid the tip credit minimum wage plus tips, and take-home pay varies with availability.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and drinks and ongoing service to guests.
• Greet guests, answer questions and make suggestions regarding food, drinks, and service.
• Interact with all guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere.
• Relay orders to service bar and kitchen via the point-of-sale computerized register system.
• Observe and serve guests responding to any needs or requests.
• Present guest checks to each table and facilitates payment. Makes correct change and/or completes the proper charge card procedure.
• Participates in the clearing and resetting of dining room tables.
