Job summary

Just Salad in New York, NY is seeking Toppers to join our front-of-house team. Under the direction of the Restaurant Team Leader, Toppers focus on guest interactions and preparing orders while supporting initiatives to reduce the brand's environmental footprint.

As a Topper you will handle salads and wraps, restock toppings, and follow food safety standards in a fast-paced setting. Training and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Remains stationary or moving throughout a shift.
• Climb stairs, bend, stoop and reach as needed.
• Read, write and clearly mark a JS order ticket.
• Basic math skills for handling orders.
• Read and follow JS menu and instructions.
• Clear, professional communication with customers and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service to Just Salad guests.
• Fills out order ticket clearly and accurately.
• Assists with digital orders as needed.
• Tops salads and wraps.
• Restocks toppings and lettuce as needed.
• Follows FIFO and keeps line clean.
• Cleans, sweeps, and closes topping line after shift.
• Supports food safety and environmental initiatives.
