Job summary

Spec's Family Partners is seeking a friendly Front-End Associate to deliver outstanding guest service at the register and throughout the store.

You will operate the POS system, scan items, process payments, and upsell add-ons while maintaining a clean checkout area. Must be able to read and follow store policies, handle cash accurately, and assist customers with courtesy and professionalism.

Qualifications

• We'd prefer you to have cashiering experience, but if you're willing to learn, we're willing to teach you.
• High school diploma or GED is preferred, but experience is also valued.
• Language: read, comprehend, and write simple instructions; bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register or electronic scanner and look up products to access UPC codes or prices.
• Greet guests and use the guest services script to upsell items and promotions.
• Handle cash, checks, debit/credit cards, or gift cards and issue receipts.
• Maintain clean and organized checkout area and stock shelves as needed.
• Assist with carry-outs and help ensure proper till balance at end of shift.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve guest questions or complaints with courtesy.
