Job summary

Spec's Family Partners is seeking a Front-End Associate to deliver exceptional guest service at the register. You will handle cash and card transactions, apply discounts, and promote add-ons and the charity of the month. A strong focus on accuracy, friendliness, and upholding store standards is essential.

The role requires you to greet guests, follow scripts, and maintain a clean, organized checkout area while complying with safety and legal requirements. Weekend availability is needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions.
• Must be over 21 years old per state law.
• Must maintain a valid TABC Beverage Sellers Permit and, where required, a Food Handlers Permit.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and use the customer service script.
• Handle cash, debit/credit, checks, and gift cards; issue receipts.
• Suggest add-ons and promote charity of the month at checkout.
• Ensure correct pricing by scanning barcodes and maintaining till balance.
• Bag merchandise, assist with carryouts, and maintain a neat register area.
• Support inventory and keep tools and supplies stocked.
