Job summary

Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate is seeking a Food Runner to ensure quick, efficient, and professional service to guests. You will know floor plans, table numbers, and menu, deliver orders accurately, and assist with breakfast buffet setup and maintenance.

The role emphasizes teamwork with hotel staff, adherence to sanitation standards, and frequent training. Prior experience in food service is required and physical tasks include lifting up to 70 pounds and being on your feet for long

Qualifications

• Good eye/hand coordination to use kitchen equipment.
• Working knowledge of sanitation standards.
• Prepares daily requisition for supplies and food items for production.
• Work cohesively with hotel staff as part of a team.
• Support procedures for food & beverage portion and waste controls.
• Maintain coolers and freezers, prep area and equipment up to health codes.
• 1-year minimum work-related experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Must have complete knowledge of floor plan, table numbers, and seat numbers.
• Must have complete knowledge of service times and menu.
• Deliver food to correct tables according to ticket, floor plan, and seat numbers.
• Set up and breakdown of breakfast buffet according to time allotted.
• Maintain all coolers and freezers, prep area and equipment up to State of Florida Health Department codes.
• Attend all designated staff meetings and training sessions.
• Set up expo line with items specified inside work.
• Complete all side duties as assigned.
