Job summary

O’Charley’s is seeking a bartender who can combine guest relations with expert knowledge of liquor and the menu. You will recommend items, upsell specials, and provide attentive service to ensure guests have a memorable visit.

Maintain bar cleanliness, stock, and drink quality while greeting guests, coordinating with servers, and delivering orders promptly. Experience with POS and bar procedures is preferred to support a smooth dining experience.

Qualifications

• Guest relations, liquor knowledge and menu knowledge are essential.
• Understanding service sequences, alcohol awareness and POS operation is required.
• Quality service, familiarity with recipes/garnishes and money handling are expected.

Responsibilities

• Be an effective salesperson with knowledge of our menu, specials and promos.
• Provide exceptional service to ensure guests have a great experience.
• Greet guests promptly and deliver food and drinks efficiently.
• Maintain bar appearance and stocking, and ensure Perfection Drink presentations.
• Communicate clearly with guests and team members and work as part of a team.
• Know bar accounting procedures and drink recipes to prepare quality drinks.
