Job summary

O'Charley’s is seeking a bartender who can deliver memorable guest experiences. You will understand the menu, make drink recommendations, and provide friendly, efficient service to guests.

You are expected to greet guests, coordinate timely drink delivery, and maintain a clean, organized bar area while working closely with the team. Responsibilities include applying bar procedures, managing liquor knowledge, and ensuring accuracy in money handling.

Qualifications

• Guest relations, liquor knowledge, and menu knowledge required.
• Knowledge of service sequences, alcohol awareness, and POS operation.
• Commitment to quality service, recipes, and garnishes.
• Money handling and floor plan familiarity expected.
• Awareness of specials and sidework duties.

Responsibilities

• Be an effective salesperson by understanding the food and beverage menus, specials, and promos.
• Make recommendations and suggestions based on knowledge of drinks.
• Ensure guests have a great experience through exceptional service.
• Greet guests promptly and ensure timely delivery of food and drinks.
• Maintain bar appearance and know bar accounting procedures.
• Work as part of a team and communicate clearly with guests and colleagues.
