Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Wait Staff Non-Tipped to provide attentive service and handle a menu of entrées, appetizers, desserts, and beverages. This role involves greeting guests, taking orders, and maintaining high standards of hospitality in a fast-paced environment.

Shifts are varied and may require lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods. TIPS/ALCOHOL training may be required, with benefits including PTO, health options, and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 0 to 1 year related experience.
• If applicable, must be at or over the minimum age to serve alcohol based on local city and state regulations.
• May require a valid TIPS, TEAM, or equivalent alcohol-service certification and must comply with state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests, present menus, and introduce specials or changes.
• Provide recommendations on meals, beverages, and wine; answer questions about allergens and prep.
• Take and relay orders accurately; confirm with guests and process in order.
• Check items for quality and attractive presentation.
• Monitor guest needs; address concerns with professionalism.
• Significant walking or mobility; ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Attend shifts on time and complete duties as assigned.
