Job summary

Desales University is seeking Wait Staff Non-Tipped through Sodexo to deliver attentive service for served entrées, appetizers, desserts, and beverages. You will greet guests, present menus, and suggest specials, while ensuring orders are accurate and presented attractively.

The role requires the ability to stand or walk for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and maintain excellent guest relations. Prior wait staff experience and flexibility with shifts are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 0–1 year related experience.
• May require state/local alcohol-service training or certification (e.g., TIPS) where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests, present menus, and introduce specials.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on meals, beverages, and wine.
• Accurately take and relay orders to the kitchen and ensure correct sequencing.
• Monitor guest needs and address concerns professionally.
• Assist with portioning and presenting items when needed.
• Stand or walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds as required.
