Job summary

South Coast Winery Resort & Spa is seeking a Public Area Attendant to join our Housekeeping Department. You will clean all guest common areas such as lobby, restrooms and hallways while ensuring guest requests are communicated to the supervisor promptly and professionally.

Key responsibilities include performing routine cleaning tasks, maintaining supplies, reporting deficiencies, and participating in cross-training as needed to support a flawless guest experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning public areas is preferred.
• Ability to communicate guest requests to a supervisor in a timely manner.
• Willingness to participate in cross-training and new tasks.

Responsibilities

• Clean all guest common areas such as lobby, restrooms, hallways.
• Communicate guest requests to an appropriate supervisor in a timely and professional manner.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks in public areas, including vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, dusting, glass cleaning and spot cleaning of carpets.
• Maintain supplies of amenities in public areas.
• Report deficiencies and maintenance needs in public areas and offices.
• Maintain cleanliness and order of storage areas and report problems.
• Practice safe work habits and operate power-driven machinery safely.
• Perform other tasks as directed, including cross-training.
