Qualifications

• Open to female applicants only (BFOQ exception applies).
• Must have prior paid janitorial experience preferred.
• Must be able to follow oral and written directions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cleanliness of public areas and report unsafe conditions.
• Dust furniture, walls, and equipment to maintain the Zoo's standards.
• Greets guests and provides assistance as necessary.

Skills

Basic knowledge of janitorial methods

Effective communication skills

Ability to interact courteously with guests

Proper lifting techniques

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred

Two years of experience performing custodial duties
