Job summary

NovumHealth seeks a Guest Facilities Technician for the Courtyard Homeless Resource Center in Las Vegas. The role covers cleaning, sanitation, and supply restocking to keep guest areas safe and welcoming.

You will work 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM on a swing shift, onsite, with opportunities to contribute to outdoor upkeep and event setup. Evening and weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in janitorial or facilities work is a plus.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and safety.
• Comfortable in a homeless services setting and interacting with diverse populations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable attendance and a team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of common areas, restrooms, and guest spaces.
• Properly collect and dispose of trash and waste in accordance with safety procedures.
• Restock essential supplies, including soap and toilet paper.
• Assist with outdoor facility upkeep, including sweeping and pressure washing.
• Conduct routine inspections and report maintenance concerns.
• Respond promptly to spills and unsanitary conditions.
• Work with security and case management to maintain a safe environment.
• Assist with event setup and breakdown and move equipment as needed.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation policies at all times.
• Interact with guests courteously and professionally while maintaining boundaries.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Guest Facilities Technician to help maintain a clean, safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment at the Courtyard Homeless Resource Center.

This position plays an important role in supporting the daily operations of the facility and helping ensure that guests, staff, and visitors have a safe and respectful environment.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and able to interact professionally and respectfully with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of common areas, restrooms, and guest spaces.
• Properly collect and dispose of trash and waste in accordance with safety and sanitation procedures.
• Restock essential supplies, including soap, toilet paper, and other restroom and guest-area supplies.
• Assist with outdoor facility upkeep, including sweeping, pressure washing, and trash removal.
• Conduct routine inspections and report maintenance or repair concerns.
• Respond promptly and appropriately to spills, biohazards, and other unsanitary conditions.
• Work collaboratively with security, case management, and other teams to maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Assist with event setup and breakdown, including moving furniture and equipment.
• Follow all organizational health, safety, and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Interact with guests in a courteous, respectful, and professional manner while maintaining appropriate boundaries.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the operations of the Courtyard.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous janitorial, custodial, facilities, or maintenance experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.
• Comfortable working in a homeless services environment and interacting with diverse populations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks as needed.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Reliable attendance and a professional, team-oriented approach.
