Xanterra Parks & Resorts Grand Canyon Railway is seeking a part-time Railway Ticket Agent to support the ticket counter, batch tickets, verify reservations, and greet guests. You will explain train tickets and schedules, handle phone reservations, and provide exceptional service in a busy, guest-facing environment.

The role emphasizes cash handling, knowledge of the Grand Canyon Railway, and adherence to EMS policies while offering benefits like free gym/pool access and free train tickets.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• One year of customer service experience.
• One year of cashier experience.
• One year of computer experience.

Responsabilités

• Fully understand and support Xanterra’s Mission Statement, Cultural Pillars, Community Commitment and Core Values.
• Daily batching: printing tickets, verifying special requests, processing collection required reservations.
• Ability to learn and maintain knowledge about the Grand Canyon Railway and Grand Canyon National Park
• Greet walk-up guests and make new reservations.
• Professionally communicate with all guests about the daily operation and schedule of the train.
• Answering phones and professionally making phone reservations.
• Provide information and offer additional services to guests to enhance their stay.
• Follow all cash handling policies and procedures.
• Responsible for understanding and adhering to all prescribed Environmental Management Systems (EMS) policies and corporate commitments to maintain ISO 14001 goals and guidelines; reduce, reuse, and recycle program.
• Maintains organization and flexibility in carrying out daily job duties.
• Effectively handles stressful situations in a public setting and professionally resolves guest-related problems.
• Establishes and maintains effective professional working relationships with co-workers, directors, and other departments, working together in a positive work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
