Job summary

McDonald's in Tacoma (23rd & UN) is hiring for the Guest Experience Team. You will greet guests, take orders at the counter or drive-thru, and help create a fast, friendly, and welcoming atmosphere.

You’ll also prepare beverages, assemble orders, assist guests at kiosks, and ensure satisfaction from start to finish. We offer flexible scheduling, tuition assistance, and opportunities to advance within the company.

Qualifications

• Outgoing and friendly demeanor.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced restaurant.
• Willing to learn beverage prep basics.
• Must be 18+ years old.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage guests with a warm smile and attitude at the counter, drive-thru, or kiosk.
• Take orders accurately and guide guests through the ordering process.
• Barista-style beverage preparation with consistency.
• Assemble and present orders for Drive-Thru, Curbside, Lobby and Delivery handoffs.
• Hand off delivery orders to couriers efficiently and professionally.
• Assist guests at self-ordering kiosks and ensure they have everything they need.
• Check in with guests after they receive their food to ensure satisfaction.
• Ensure kids receive a special treat and that families feel taken care of.
• Handle guest concerns with professionalism and a positive attitude.
• Communicate with kitchen for smooth operations and feedback.
• Light dining area maintenance to keep the space welcoming.
