Job summary

Panera Bread is seeking a Restaurant Team Member to be the heart of hospitality, delivering warm, caring service and high-quality food to guests. You will work across bakery-cafe areas, greet guests warmly, prepare fresh salads, soups and sandwiches, and stay mobile to assist guests at various stations.

This role emphasizes speed, accuracy, and a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities to contribute to a welcoming atmosphere and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16+ and ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Able to clearly communicate in a loud environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and enjoy making people smile.
• Passionate about creating moments of comfort, connection, and joy for every guest.
• Fast-paced, multitasker; reliable, punctual and flexible to evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic food safety training; Food Handler’s Card as required by law.
• Food service experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Execute duties for bakery-cafe areas (Production, Prep, Service, Cashier, Expo, Drive-Thru, Barista, Guest Experience Champion, QC, etc.).
• Greet every guest with warmth and enthusiasm.
• Assemble fresh salads, soups, and sandwiches with care, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Stay on the move—assist guests at entry, cashier, and dining areas.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting environment by following food safety standards.
• Be informed about daily priorities and adapt to changes with a positive attitude.
• Support team success by completing cleaning and stocking duties and helping set up the next shift.
