Job summary

Panera Bread is seeking a Restaurant Team Member to be the heart of hospitality, delivering warmth, care, and joy in every guest interaction. You will support in production, prep, service, cashier and barista roles, delivering meals and beverages with accuracy and enthusiasm.

Responsibilities include greeting guests warmly, assembling fresh salads, soups and sandwiches, and maintaining a clean and safe environment while adapting to daily priorities in a fast-paced bakery-cafe setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16+ required.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Clear communication in a loud environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to make guests smile.
• Passionate about creating moments of comfort, connection and joy.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can multitask.
• Reliable, punctual and flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Food safety training (Food Handler’s Card) as required by law.
• Food service experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in producing, prepping, serving and cashier sections as applicable.
• Greet every guest with warm, genuine hospitality.
• Assemble fresh salads, soups and sandwiches with care and speed.
• Move between entry, cashier and dining areas to assist guests.
• Maintain a clean, safe, inviting environment per food safety standards.
• Stay informed on daily priorities and adapt with a positive attitude.
• Complete cleaning and stocking duties and help set up for the next shift.
