Job summary

Panera Bread is seeking a Restaurant Team Member to be the heart of hospitality, greeting guests warmly and providing efficient service in a fast-paced bakery-cafe environment. You will help assemble fresh salads, soups, and sandwiches, support various stations, and keep the dining area clean and inviting.

This role emphasizes strong interpersonal skills, reliability, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16+ and ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Clear communication with guests, managers, and team in loud environments.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for making guests smile.
• Reliable, punctual and flexible to evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Basic food safety understanding and training (Food Handler’s Card as required by law).

Responsibilities

• Execute duties for specific areas within bakery-cafe (Production, Prep, Service, Cashier, Expo, Drive-Thru, Barista, etc.).
• Greet every guest with genuine warmth and enthusiasm.
• Assemble fresh salads, soups, and sandwiches with care and efficiency.
• Stay on the move to assist guests at entry, cashier, and dining areas.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting environment by following food safety standards.
• Be informed about daily priorities and adapt with a positive attitude.
• Support team success by completing cleaning and stocking duties and helping set up the next shift.
