Job summary

Target is seeking a Service and Engagement Team Leader in California to deliver excellent guest experiences and lead a fast-paced store team. You will supervise hourly staff, coach and develop talent, and ensure smooth operations across front-of-store tasks and drive-up services.

The role emphasizes strong communication, accountability, and the ability to adapt to varied shifts, including nights and weekends. A high school diploma and 18+ age are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Retail experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to lead and hold others accountable.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Consistently deliver guest experience commitments to create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience.
• Lead a team of hourly team members, including coaching, interviewing and development.
• Observe performance, provide feedback, and drive accountability.
• Support and execute store goals, promotions and loyalty programs.
• Manage workload and prioritize tasks to meet service and sales targets.
• Assist with Drive-Up and pickup services to ensure accurate orders.
