Job summary

The Kansas City Royals are seeking an Usher Assistant Supervisor to help run guest services at Kauffman Stadium. You will train and supervise Ushers, uphold safety policies, and ensure a welcoming environment for fans during home games.

This part-time, non-exempt role is aligned with the stadium’s event schedule; expect holidays, weekends, and evenings. Strong communication and team spirit are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• Two years of supervisory experience preferred.
• 5+ years Guest Service experience preferred.
• Experience with Dayforce Payroll System preferred, but not required.
• Available to work all home games, including holidays, weekends, and evenings.
• Able to work in high-pressure environment.
• Professional demeanor and excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Must be team-oriented, extremely outgoing, and motivated.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must have availability on days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and guest-friendly environment and enforce company policies.
• Train and supervise Ushers.
• Responsible for department personnel paperwork including disciplinary and payroll.
• Responsible for scheduling employees and approving payroll using Dayforce, when needed.
• Listen to guests and help address any concerns they may have.
• Seek out opportunities to talk with guests and get to know season ticket members.
• Be aggressively friendly to all guests.
• Other duties as assigned.
