Job summary

Hotel Saint Augustine, part of Bunkhouse Hotels, is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead daily housekeeping operations, organize staff duties, and maintain guestroom quality. You will work with the operations team to deliver exceptional guest experiences in our Montrose district property.

Responsibilities include inspecting rooms and public areas, coordinating with Front Office and Engineering, training staff, managing workloads, and enforcing safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to perform essential physical functions (lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct Housekeeping staff to meet department standards.
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas for cleanliness and safety.
• Assign daily workloads based on occupancy and priorities.
• Coordinate with Front Office and Engineering to ensure timely room availability.
• Train and coach staff, provide ongoing feedback and development.
• Enforce safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines; follow up on improvements.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and service recovery opportunities.
• Lead daily shift briefings and communicate priorities to team.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
