Job summary

Montage Palmetto Bluff in Bluffton, SC is seeking a Steward to maintain a clean, organized kitchen and support the food & beverage team. You will manage dishwashing, sanitation, and inventory, helping to ensure a smooth operation across event and dining services.

This role offers exposure to a luxury hotel environment with opportunities to learn, grow, and contribute to guest experiences, while working flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Prior dishwashing/stewarding experience preferred.
• Hotel experience is a plus.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clean, transport, and store china, glassware, silverware, pots, pans and equipment used in food and beverage operations.
• Stock restaurant and banquet kitchens with required equipment.
• Sanitize and clean kitchen floors, bins, and waste areas; maintain recycle/trash room cleanliness.
• Assist with transporting food for event functions.
• Operate dishwashing equipment and ensure items are sanitized and stored properly.
• Monitor water temperature and detergent levels for effective dishwashing.
