Othership in New York invites applications for a Front Desk Steward to welcome journeyers and ensure a smooth flow of guests across our sauna + ice bath spaces. You are the face and voice of the brand, delivering warm, mindful service and supporting guides and staff in a fast-paced environment.

Part-time shifts include evenings and weekends; you will manage check-ins, inquiries, and contribute to community culture, while maintaining clean facilities and a calm, organized presence throughout the

Qualifications

• Availability to work 2-3 shifts per week including evenings/weekends/holidays.
• Passion for growing the Othership community and mindful service.
• Customer-focused with empathy, patience and support.
• Proficiency with Mariana Tek and Notion.
• Previous customer service, admin or management experience preferred.
• Proven ability to drive revenue and strong time management.

Responsibilities

• Be the face of Othership by embodying core values with enthusiasm and kindness.
• Offer thoughtful, clear communications with operations and staff.
• Stay knowledgeable about the mission, values and culture of Othership.
• Reports to Ship Captain on customer service needs, issues and sales reports.
• Manage all customer service: check-ins, calls, emails; engage online channels.
• Oversee Mariana Tek for sign-in, attendance, bookings, accounts and memberships.
• Manage reception desk; build community, drive sales, know programming and promotions.
• Oversee facility operations and maintain cleanliness across spaces.
