Job summary

Movement in New York is seeking Front Desk team members to be the welcoming face of the gym, guiding guests into the Movement community and helping them access memberships, classes, and programs. You will deliver exceptional service, conduct tours, and assist with retail while embodying Movement's values of growth, connection, and integrity.

This part-time role requires evening and weekend availability, a positive attitude, and a passion for climbing, yoga, and fitness.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service to members and guests.
• Be a guide: provide a welcoming, knowledgeable presence in interactions and guide members to products and programs that help achieve goals.
• Bring passion and be a champion of the gym, speak about amenities, benefits and programs.
• Check people in and conduct transactions; assist with retail and sales.
• Deliver belay checks, floor walks, monitor gym, address safety concerns.
• Perform facility upkeep, projects and cleaning tasks.
• Instruct introductory climbing classes.
