Job summary

Milan Institute in Houston is seeking a friendly Customer Service Specialist to be the face of our student salon floor, ensuring an exceptional experience for every client and supporting our students’ learning.

You will schedule appointments, coordinate with instructors and students, process payments, promote services, and keep the salon floor clean and inviting, adapting to client needs with professionalism and a positive attitude.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in customer service, preferably in beauty/salon.
• Ability to communicate professionally with clients, students and staff.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome salon clients in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assist clients in scheduling appointments and address inquiries.
• Coordinate bookings with instructors and students to ensure smooth operations.
• Process payments and manage cash register transactions.
• Promote salon services and promotions to drive repeat business.
• Maintain a clean, organized salon floor and workstations.
• Handle client concerns professionally and seek timely resolutions.
• Stay updated on industry trends to provide knowledgeable recommendations.
