Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Louisiana LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a friendly shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, stock shelves, unload shipments, and keep the store clean and inviting.

The role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and prior retail or service experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Prior customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent movement and standing.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks; stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash disposal.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
