Job summary

The Hotel Ithaca in Ithaca, NY is seeking experienced Guest Relations Representatives to welcome guests and ensure a pleasant stay.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a Guest Relations Representative.
• Experience with hotel management software (PMS).
• Proficiency in English; other languages a plus.
• Excellent communication and active listening skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and weekends/holidays.
• BSc in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or Business Administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide upscale guest service experiences throughout stay.
• Greet clients on arrival and coordinate check-ins.
• Inform guests about hotel services and amenities.
• Address guest requests and resolve complaints promptly.
• Promote local attractions and dining options.
• Coordinate luggage collection and storage.
• Monitor bookings and ensure rooms prepared before check-in.
• Follow up to ensure guests are satisfied.
