Job summary

Squeeze, a feel-good company behind Drybar, seeks a Guest Experience Associate / Maitre D’ for its San Mateo studio. You will welcome guests, guide them through their visit, and help them navigate our app and membership options while upholding the brand’s hospitality standards.

You’ll be the first point of contact, ensuring a warm, polished front of house and a memorable experience. Weekend availability is required in a fast-paced service environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year customer service/front desk/hospitality experience preferred.
• Warm, friendly, hospitality-focused approach to interacting with guests.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using technology and learning new systems.
• Able to multitask, stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, team-oriented, attentive to detail.
• Genuine interest in wellness and guest experiences.
• Availability to work at least one weekend day.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and check-in guests with warmth and professionalism.
• Provide first-class guest service.
• Support guests from check-in to completion of their appointment.
• Help guests navigate the Squeeze app and manage accounts.
• Assist with questions on services and membership options.
• Maintain front-of-house and guest lounge to cleanliness and presentation.
• Resolve guest questions and concerns thoughtfully.
• Communicate effectively with the team to keep the studio running smoothly.
• Create a welcoming environment reflecting the Squeeze brand.
