Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Guest Service Associate to drive a top-notch guest experience while supporting store-level tasks. The role emphasizes customer service, safety, and efficient operations in a retail environment.

You will greet guests, handle POS transactions, assist with inventory, and coordinate with management and vendors to ensure a smooth shopping experience. This position offers opportunities for growth and requires flexible hours across days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work flexible hours including day, nights, weekends or holidays.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in intermittent temperatures outdoors and indoors.
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs, reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Freedom to access all store areas including selling floor, stock and register.
• Duties performed in a timely manner; ability to count, read and write for paperwork.
• Support GSA onboarding and training for new hires.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality and store operations policies and practices.
• Operate the point of sale per corporate standards; manage cash and lottery levels.
• Complete store housekeeping (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash).
• Replenish products and supplies, ensuring in-stock conditions.
• Communicate with store management regarding guest requests and vendor concerns.
• Check in external and internal vendors per guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects assigned by management.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Minors may ONLY use OSHA approved knives.
