Job summary

Global Partners LP seeks a Guest Service Associate to enhance the guest experience and support store operations. You will greet guests, operate the POS, ensure safety and cleanliness, and keep shelves stocked while communicating guest and vendor needs.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in intermittent temperatures outside or in cooler environments.
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs, reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch and lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area, and register area.
• Must be able to count, read and write accurately to complete paperwork.
• Support GSA onboarding and training for new hires.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality and store policy procedures.
• Operate the point of sale per corporate standards; manage cash, lottery, and tobacco levels.
• Perform store housekeeping and maintain in-stock conditions.
• Replenish products and communicate guest requests and vendor concerns.
• Check in external and internal vendors per guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects as assigned.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
