Job summary

Global Partners LP is hiring a Guest Service Associate to drive a superior guest experience and support store operations. You will greet guests, run the register, keep shelves stocked, and assist with vendor interactions while adhering to safety and quality policies.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work flexible hours including day, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in intermittent temperatures outside or in cooler.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to climb ladders & stairs, reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch.
• Ability to access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area, and register area.
• Perform duties of the job in a timely manner.
• You have the ability to count, read and write accurately to complete required paperwork.
• Support GSA new hire employee's onboarding and training.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone.
• Adhere to the execution of established safety, security, quality and store operations policies, procedures, and practices.
• Operate the point of sale pursuant to corporate standards; maintain proper cash, lottery, tobacco levels.
• Complete all store housekeeping functions (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, etc.).
• Replenish products and supplies ensuring in-stock conditions at all times.
• Communicate with store management regarding guest requests and vendor-related concerns.
• Check in external and internal vendors per established guidelines.
• Conducts gas tank inventory and merchandising projects assigned by management.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Minors may ONLY use OSHA approved knives.
