Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Guest Service Associate to deliver a top-notch guest experience and support store operations, from POS transactions to inventory and housekeeping. The role emphasizes safety, customer care, and teamwork in a dynamic retail environment.

The position requires availability for day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts, with a focus on accurate paperwork, reliable transportation, and the ability to work in varying temperatures.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in intermittent temperatures (outdoors, cooler, etc.).
• Ability to read and write to complete required paperwork.
• Flexible availability including days, nights, weekends, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality and store operations policies, procedures, and practices.
• Operate the point of sale pursuant to corporate standards; maintain proper cash, lottery, tobacco levels.
• Complete all store housekeeping functions (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash).
• Replenish products and supplies ensuring in-stock conditions at all times.
• Communicate with store management regarding guest requests and vendor-related concerns.
• Check in external and internal vendors per established guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects assigned by management.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Minors may ONLY use OSHA approved knives.
