Job summary

Global Partners LP in Pittsfield, MA is seeking a Guest Service Associate to provide an outstanding guest experience while handling store tasks. You will greet guests, operate the POS, maintain cash and inventory, and support safety and housekeeping standards.

Qualifications

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Operate the point of sale pursuant to corporate standards and maintain cash/tobacco levels.
• Complete all store housekeeping and replenishment tasks.
• Communicate guest requests and vendor concerns to management.
• Must be available to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends and/or holidays.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs, reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch and lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area, and register area.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality, and store operations policies.
• Operate the POS system and manage cash/lottery/tobacco levels.
• Perform store housekeeping tasks (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash).
• Replenish products and supplies to maintain in-stock conditions.
• Communicate guest requests and vendor-related concerns to management.
• Check in external and internal vendors per guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects as assigned.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
