Job summary

Global Partners LP in Massachusetts seeks a Guest Service Associate to greet guests and deliver an exceptional shopping experience while supporting store operations and safety policies.

You will operate the POS, handle cash and inventory tasks, restock shelves, and communicate guest needs to management. This role emphasizes reliability, flexibility, and teamwork in a retail environment.

Qualifications

• Available to work flexible hours including day, night, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures outside and in coolers.
• Ability to climb ladders, reach, bend, twist and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Access to all store areas including selling floor, stock and register.
• Complete required paperwork with accuracy.
• Support onboarding and training for new hires.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality and store operations policies.
• Operate the point of sale and maintain cash, lottery and tobacco levels.
• Complete store housekeeping tasks (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash).
• Replenish products and ensure in-stock conditions at all times.
• Communicate guest requests and vendor concerns to management.
• Check in external and internal vendors per guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects as assigned.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Minors may ONLY use OSHA approved knives.
