Job summary

Target is seeking a Guest Advocate to warmly welcome guests, assist with inquiries, and resolve issues to ensure a quick and easy shopping experience. You will help guests locate products, explain loyalty benefits, and participate in checkouts with accuracy and care.

We value teamwork, adaptability, and a proactive approach to learning about store services like Order Pick-Up and Drive Up, while maintaining a clean and safe work environment and delivering outstanding guest service.

Qualifications

• Communicating effectively, including using positive language and attentive to guests needs.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and other team members.
• Attention to detail while prioritizing tasks.
• Willing to educate guests and engage around products and services.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments: greet guests and assist with needs.
• Help guests find items and resolve issues to ensure a smooth shopping experience.
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you and maintain accurate checkouts.
• Support peers in other areas and adapt to business needs while staying positive and respectful.
• Explain and promote Target loyalty programs and assist with sign-ups as needed.
• Explain features like Order Pick-Up and Drive Up and guide guests through enrollment.
