Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Guest Service Associate to deliver an inviting guest experience at our store. You will greet customers, assist with purchases, and help maintain safe, clean, and organized store operations throughout the shift.

Guests and team members rely on your friendly demeanor, reliability, and ability to handle basic computer tasks and POS transactions to keep the store running smoothly during day, night, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Operate the point of sale pursuant to corporate standards; maintain proper cash, lottery, tobacco levels.
• Must be available to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to count, read and write to complete required paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality and store policies.
• Operate POS and manage cash/tickets as required.
• Complete housekeeping and replenish products to maintain in-stock conditions.
• Communicate guest requests and vendor-related concerns to management.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects as assigned by management.
• Support onboarding and training of new hires.
