Job summary

Global Partners LP in Milford, CT is seeking a Guest Service Associate to greet guests and ensure an enjoyable shopping experience while supporting store operations.

You will handle POS transactions, assist with replenishment, and maintain safety and cleanliness standards; flexibility to work varied hours is required, including weekends and holidays. Health benefits and retirement plan are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to access all store areas and assist guests.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone.
• Adhere to the execution of established safety, security, quality and store operations policies, procedures, and practices.
• Operate the point of sale pursuant to corporate standards; maintain proper cash, lottery, tobacco levels.
• Complete all store housekeeping functions (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, etc.).
• Replenish products and supplies ensuring in-stock conditions at all times.
• Communicate with store management regarding guest requests and vendor-related concerns.
• Check in external and internal vendors per established guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects assigned by management.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Minors may ONLY use OSHA approved knives.
