Job summary

Target is seeking a Guest Advocate in Los Angeles to create an inviting and efficient guest experience. You will greet customers, help them locate products, process transactions, and communicate promotions and app features to enhance loyalty and satisfaction.

The role emphasizes flexibility, teamwork, and the ability to adapt to busy store environments while maintaining high service standards. Training is provided to build guest interaction skills and product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Communicating effectively, including using positive language and attentive to guests needs.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and other team members.
• Attention to detail while prioritizing tasks.
• Willing to educate guests and engage around products and services.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.

Responsibilities

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments.
• Greet guests warmly at 10ft and 4ft ranges, smiling and initiating interaction.
• Help guests find what they need and resolve issues for a smooth shopping experience.
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you.
• Support teammates and assist peers while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes guest service and explain targets and promos.
• Explain Target Loyalty benefits and assist with sign-up and login as needed.
• Scan and bag items efficiently and in compliance with safety standards.
• Assist with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering guidance.
