Qualifications

• Education and/or experience completed or working towards a High School Diploma or GED.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers and addresses questions in a polite, professional manner.
• Operates front-end scanning equipment and cash register; bags merchandise efficiently.
• Maintains accurate transactions and cash drawer; handles payments and coupons.
• Applies store policies for tobacco and alcohol sales.
• Maintains knowledge of weekly ads and store layout to assist customers.
• Ensures department sanitation and compliance with health and OSHA requirements.
• Cooperates with coworkers and supervisors to ensure smooth store operations.
• Wears and uses PPE per company policy.
• May assist in other departments when needed.
